Virginia is an artist who  has been working in the fabric industry for 35 years. A Master of Fine Arts Degree  prepared her for a fulfilling life of facilitating the creativity of others. She taught art at three universities before embarking on a career in the fabric and sewing field where she taught internationally and at the International Quilt  Market. She brings experience and enthusiasm to the class room.

Virginia has designed thousands of  fabrics for different fabric companies. She designed prints for Fabri-Quilt, US Indo.Sales Bali Fabrics, Clothworks, JoAnnes, and Richlin fabrics.  She was the art director for Bali Fabrics. She and husband, Lynn have a publishing company of fine books and patterns and a history of opening interesting quilt shops in unlikely places.
